This is the 4th of 52 posts where I discuss how to bring academic research into DS industry. The primary source is this 2021 paper. Two other good resources are a doordash and lyft article. A really useful next step would be to develop a python/R library that facilitates these calculations. The authors also note that developing dynamic treatments is a logical next step.
